Ayahuasca

Traditionally used in the Amazon jungle for countless time and exported all around the world over the past decades, the Ayahuasca brew has brought both hope and controversy to the psychological, religious and medical societies. It's main ingredientes are the Ayahuasca vine and the Chacruna leaf (both exclusively native to the Amazon), but different cultures add other ingredients according to specific traditions or purposes.

Nowadays its use is already recognized in the scientific scene as an effective form of treatment for drug addiction, depression and some diseases. Because of its powerful effects over the mind, it's often seen either as a drug that causes hallucinations or as a sacred plant that leads to a religious/spiritual experience. Both perspectives are very narrow and equally wrong. In order to achieve the level of awareness in which one has a clear understanding of such experiences, it's necessary to develop other senses. Ayahuasca is not the appropriate tool to do so. Its function is to release the negativity and to connect with the energy of the nature. Nevertheless, due to the strength of its effects, it's the most sought "power plant" in South America.

San Pedro

San Pedro - originally known as Huachuma ("Wachuma") - is a cactus that grows mostly along the Peruvian coast and the lower Andes regions. Traditionally used for "shamanic healing" or as "sacrament" in ceremonies, its use in the Chavin civilization was rather a means of development of other senses and connection with the energy of the universe. Master Yankunta prepares the San Pedro accordingly to its original recipe derived from the Chavin legacy. It's correct to state that San Pedro is the most important tool in a shamanic initiation, as long as provided in the correct setting and under the guidance of a first level master. Without the religious, spiritual, philosophical and technological limitations of the human mind, this preparation is a limitless instrument for the development of the mind and the senses.
